A Brick, A Body sits in the porous relationship between ecological systems, architecture, and human history. The brick acts as an index of the body, where labor and movement are embedded into built space. Installed in Varanasi, India, the work responds to the site through a surface of exchange between materials that trace the way bodies move through space.
